WHY HERDMATE BEGAN
Herdmate was born from lived experience, navigating sensitive skin and eczema, and discovering how few baby products are truly made with skin health in mind.
In that search, we returned to materials that have protected humans and animals for generations. Fibers that breathe, regulate temperature naturally, and remain gentle against fragile skin. Not engineered solutions. Not synthetic softness. But materials shaped by place, climate, and time.

The Deccan collection is expressed through cashmere and mulberry silk essentials, chosen for their ability to provide gentle warmth and frictionless comfort for sensitive skin.

The Highlands collection brings together cashmere, mulberry silk, and organic Pima cotton, chosen to support steady warmth and gentle contact with sensitive skin.

The Andes collection is crafted in Royal alpaca and mulberry silk, selected for environments where breathability and thermal balance matter most.
